Palmer Lake Historical Society's annual Chautauqua event resumes after a two-year break due to the pandemic. Enjoy fun for the whole family featuring demonstrations, exhibits, music, and refreshments. The event is a revival of annual summer gatherings that took place in the town’s rustic Glen from 1886 until 1910. (Click to read more about the origins of Chautauqua Assembly at Palmer Lake.) Palmer Lake Town Hall and Village Green Free and open to all!

Join a walking tour of the town Join local experts on small group walks through Palmer Lake. Tours start at the Village Green and include the Palmer Lake Town Hall, Lucretia Vaile Museum, Estemere estate, several historical buildings, and end at the Rock House Ice Cream Shop. Tours will last approximately 45 minutes and groups are limited to 12 participants. Learn more about Palmer Lake history. The event is free and open to all.

 Join an old time Ice Cream Social on Village Green A Palmer Lake Father's Day tradition free and open to everyone Enjoy ice cream and pie on the Village Green along with music provided by Craig Walter. Bring a lawn chair to relax and visit with neighbors. Check out vintage cars on display in the Bella Panini parking lot. Come celebrate the formal re-opening of the Lucretia Vaile Library and Museum and the Palmer Lake Town Hall. These buildings in the heart of Palmer Lake endured lengthy closures due to the pandemic followed by extensive renovations to library and museum entrances and to the town hall.
