A Palmer Lake tradition since 1933, the 89th Annual Yule Log Hunt will take place on December 11 at 1:00 PM. The Finder and friends straddle the Yule log for a victory ride into town. The Hider and the Finder then saw the log in half. Half is burned in the Town Hall fireplace during the Wassail Ceremony, and the other half is used for next year's kindling.

Each year, the Palmer Lake Volunteer Fire Department hosts a chili supper followed by the lighting, of the Palmer Lake Star for the holiday season. Come and join the festivities including Christmas carolers, hayrides, pictures with Santa, and a raffle for the privilege of lighting the Star. Adults: $12.00 Kids: $6.00 Under 3: Free  

The Palmer Lake Historical Society invites everyone to Steve Antonuccio's presentation on the Alexander Film Company. Established in Colorado Springs in 1927, the Alexander Film Company was the largest producer of advertising playlets for movie theaters in the country. The company created the concept of the television commercial and at one time, had 600 employees in Colorado Springs.
