“Awake Palmer Lake” – A Volunteer Success Story

Join the Palmer Lake Historical Society for this lively panel discussion led by Palmer Lake business owners Jeannine Engel of famed Rock House Ice Cream and Jeff Hulsmann from historic O’Malley’s Pub. Hear their wonderful stories about how to start and maintain a successful grass roots community effort that “keeps on giving”. This program will center on community volunteerism as the panel presents the mission, accomplishments and future of the successful campaign to “Awake Palmer Lake”.

We welcome other non-profits to join us in celebrating and learning about this grass root’s efforts to save Palmer Lake. Thursday, February 16. Program starts at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served after the program. FREE and open to the public.

Awake Palmer Lake’s Mission: To salvage, restore, and recreate the natural majesty of the namesake of our town Palmer Lake.
