Join the Palmer Lake Historical Society for a presentation on the Denver KKK during the 1920s. Ms. Shaun Boyd, Curator of Archives from History Colorado in Denver, will present on how the Klan pressured local governments, why it differed from the KKK of the South & why it grew to over 30,000 enrollees before dwindling & losing influence. Few Colorado residents know the influence of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) had on Denver in the 1920s.
