Read about Chautaugua here in Palmer Lake. Lucretia Vaile participated in many Chautauguas when her family summered in Palmer Lake. Lazy summer days spent learning prompted Lucretia to become a librarian in Denver. Lucretia generously donated money to be used for the Palmer Lake Library and the History Society museum.
