Please join us on Thursday, June 6 for the Palmer Lake Historical Society Book Launch with author Daniel W. Edwards who will be introducing his new book about the Monument Nursery from 1907-1965. From 6:00 – 8:30 with presentation beginning at 7:00 pm. Please stay for light refreshments and socializing and meet the author. We are proud to publish this book about an interesting chapter in Monument’s history. For almost sixty years Monument was the home of the U.S. Forest Service where millions of trees were raised for planting in the Rocky Mountain West. This book took over four years to research and produce. It will be available in hard cover and soft cover books which will be available. All proceeds from the book will go to the Palmer Lake Historical Society whose mission since 1956 is to support,  protect and preserve the history of the Palmer Divide area.
