Helen (Hunt) Jackson: A Complex, Creative, & Influential Life

Jackson was an amazing woman, a woman far more complex than the one history speaks about.” Helen was described as “the most brilliant, impetuous and thoroughly individual woman in her time”. She was inducted into the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame in 1985.
Monument Tree Farm Walking Tour

Major Stephen Long’s U.S. expedition traveled by boat, horseback and foot in 1819 — 1820. They came through our area, named Castle Rock & Discovered the Columbine flower.
