The Palmer Lake Historical Society invites the public to hear Tracy Beach present the program “The Night of a Thousand Heroes” based on her book of the same name. The presentation will include a short historical lecture on the history of the disastrous June 1921 Pueblo Flood, a slide show, and a presentation of historical flood artifacts.

Admission is free and open to all!
Doors open to the public at 6:30.
Light refreshments are served after the program.

Tracy Beach, raised in Salida, CO, is the author of “The Tunnels under our feet- Colorado’s forgotten hollow sidewalks;” “My life as a Whore- the biography of Madam Laura Evens;” “Frozen to the cabin floor- the biography of Baby Doe Tabor;” “Michael;” and “The Night of a Thousand Heroes.” She is currently working on two WW2 biographies.
