We understand that privacy is important to members of the PLHS and users of our Web Site, especially when joining the PLHS or conducting business. This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to our members and to those users of the Site.

Other than our direct collection of information, on our membership application, no other personally identifiable information is stored on the Site or in our offices. No information is provided to outside organizations.

We use Personally Identifiable Information to contact members or customers of the PLHS in response to specific inquiries, to provide requested information, fulfill orders, or to notify members of upcoming events and other information regarding the PLHS.

Personally Identifiable Information about customers and members is not shared with any other organization.

Personally Identifiable Information collected by Palmer Lake Historical Society is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties or volunteers of the Palmer Lake Historical Society except for use as indicated above.

What choices are available regarding collection, use and distribution of the information?
Society members may opt out of receiving unsolicited information by us via e-mail by responding to emails as instructed.

Cookies are not used on our Site.

How does the Site keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?
Volunteers are familiar with our privacy policy. The personally identifiable information of our visitors and members is only accessible to a limited number of qualified volunteers. While we take reasonable measures to maintain a secure site and office, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to Visitors or members for any such occurrences.

What happens if the Privacy Policy Changes?
We will let our Visitors and Authorized Customers know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on the Site.
